Riders have to bring sleeping bags. Supporters are asked to bring with them their sleeping backs AND air matrasses.

 
travel information

closest airports are Brussels International airport and Brussels South Charleroi airport. People coming by airplane have mainly two options:

" Brussels International airport (Zaventem), which is the main airport. Using the railway it takes 15 min from Zaventem Airport station tot Leuven and costs approx 4euro. There is a train every half hour up to 23.30h."

" Brussels South Charleroi Airport, which is the Ryanair-arport. It is located approximately 8 km from the centre of Charleroi and 46 Km from the centre of Brussels. A bus connects the airport to the trainstation, from whereon a train to Leuven takes 1.45h for about 9€. The trains leave every 30 min up to 22.30 and you have to change train one time."

Participants ans supporters will only be picked up at the Leuven Railway Station!!! The Belgian Railway system is reliable and fast so it shouldn't be any problem to reach Leuven, which is a 'big' Belgian city (all timetables can be found on www.b-rail.be). If you need to be pickedup, please make sure to email daphne@studentriders.be with time of arrival off the plane (in case of delays, try to warn the oc) and estimated time off arrival at the railway station. If any problems occur, contact the OC members.

All Countries.:

All teams from EU and non-EU countries must wire the AIEC SRNC team fee + the Basic Staying Costs for all riders by bank transfer to the Belgium OC bank account (see below). For a full team of 3 riders the total amounts to EUR 444.- (= 3x EUR 128.- + AIEC Team fee EUR 60.-). For each additional rider, please add EUR 148.- (= EUR 128.- + 1/3 of AIEC Team fee). All wire and transfer bank costs must be paid by the sender.Please make sure to mention on your wire: "Registration AIEC-SRNC BEL for team xxx". We recommend that you send a short email to Daphne@studentriders.be when your wire is on its way, to assure the quickest confirmation.
